Ball, 8 mm

Replacing the detent ball in my HiTorque Bench Mill was straightforward once I had this 8mm steel ball in hand—it dropped right into place. The precision diameter is spot on for the part diagram, and it feels solidly made.

Dropped it on the concrete floor and it didn't so much as scuff—the 8mm steel is solid and the fit in the detent hole was exact. Took all of ten seconds to pop in and the mill's back to clicking like new.
