Brace, Column X2/SX2 Mini Mill

Installed this brace on my mini mill last weekend and it immediately stopped the column flex I was seeing during heavier cuts. The cast iron feels substantial and really stiffens up the whole machine.

The mounting holes lined up perfectly with my existing column—no drilling or modifications needed. Feels much more solid than the original cast part, which was starting to flex during heavier cuts.

Replaced the old brace on my X2 and this one lined up perfectly with the column holes, zero slop after torquing down. The casting feels dense and the machined faces are clean, so I didn't have to file anything to get a snug fit.
