Was a bit skeptical about needing this, but it really does lock the carriage solid once tightened down. Nice that it uses the existing follower rest holes and doesn't get in the way for other operations.

Installs perfectly into the existing holes with no modifications needed. I can leave it in place while turning, which saves me from constantly swapping parts out.
