Chip Tray, Micro Mill CLEARANCE

Chips and swarf used to end up all over my bench, but this tray’s raised 0.4-inch lip keeps everything contained without getting in the way of the vise. The 14.8" x 18.0" footprint fits my SX1 snugly, and cleanup is just a quick wipe since the surface is smooth and rigid.

Bolts lined up perfectly with the pre-drilled holes, so mounting took all of five minutes. The 14.8 by 18 inch footprint catches everything from chips to the occasional dropped end mill, and the 0.4 inch lip keeps it from flexing under heavier parts.

The 0.4-inch thickness feels sturdy enough to handle heavy swarf without flexing, and the mounting holes lined up perfectly with my mill's base. I'm glad I grabbed this before they were gone.
