I’ve been using this adapter on my lathe for a few weeks now, and the precision of the pre-threaded 1"-10 fit made the initial setup much smoother than I expected. The included machining instructions were clear enough that I had the registration diameter turned and aligned in under an hour.

Took a little time to set up on my lathe, but once I followed the included instructions for turning the registration diameter, the fit was spot-on. The 1"-10 thread is true and the 6" face gives solid grip for my chucks.

The registration diameter turned true on the first try, and the threads were clean and well-cut right out of the box. Machining it to fit my lathe took about an hour, but the included instructions made the final turning straightforward. Now all my 6" chucks seat without any wobble.
