Collet Holder, Tormach TTS, ER-16

Finally a collet holder that actually feels solid in the lathe—the alloy steel construction and precise 1.06-inch diameter fit my TTS tooling perfectly. The included nut threads on smoothly, and the 1.93-inch installed height keeps everything rigid during heavy cuts.

The 1.06-inch outside diameter fits my Tormach spindle perfectly with zero runout. Took a few tries to get the collet seated just right, but once it’s dialed in it holds tooling rock solid.

The installed height of 1.93 inches worked perfectly with my tool changer setup. The alloy steel feels solid in the holder, and the included collet nut tightened down smoothly. Only minor gripe is the threads could be a bit smoother, but it's held up fine so far.
