Collet Set, 5C, Set of 17

Finally have a proper range of sizes for my mini lathe, and the 5C collets grip my stock much more securely than the three-jaw chuck ever did. The set covers everything from 1/16" up to 1-1/8", so I rarely need to reach for a different holder now.

Swapped out my old single-size collets for this 17-piece set and the range is exactly what I needed for bench work. The way each collet grips the workpiece feels solid, and having the size variety means less fiddling with different holders.

The 17-piece range covers almost every size I reach for on the bench, and the collets seat firmly without any wobble once tightened. I’ve swapped workpieces multiple times today and each one held dead true, which is exactly what I needed for my small milling jobs.
