Collet, Tormach TTS, R8, 3/4"

Ground my R8 collets on the taper to clean them up, and this one held true to size even though it's noticeably shorter than my others. The precision grind is spot on, and the TTS holder seats firmly against the spindle face every time I swap tools.

The shorter body is the whole point here, and it works exactly as it should—my TTS holders now seat firmly against the spindle face without any fuss. The ground finish is smooth and true, and it grips the tool shank without any runout I can measure.

The shorter-than-normal length is exactly what I needed; my TTS holders now seat properly in the spindle without any gap. Ground finish looks clean and the 3/4" bore grabs the shank firmly.
