Crankwheel shaft CLEARANCE

Finally found a steel shaft that actually matches the 3 mm diameter my engine needs, and the 34 mm length was dead-on. No filing or adjusting required to get the crankwheel mounted.

The 34 mm length is spot on for the HAE01, and the 3 mm diameter fits the crankwheel hub without any wobble. Machining is clean, no burs or rough edges, and it feels properly hardened. Replacing my worn shaft took under ten minutes.

The 3 mm shaft slid right into the crankwheel mount with zero play, and the 34 mm length gave just enough clearance for the walking beam to pivot smoothly. It’s solid steel, so I’m not worried about it bending under the engine’s constant cycling.
