Machined the threads on this replacement feed screw are noticeably smoother than the stock part—no binding when advancing the cross slide. Took about ten minutes to swap out and the carriage moves precisely now.

Installed this 20 TPI feed screw on my lathe's cross slide and the threading meshed perfectly with the existing nut. The pitch is noticeably finer than the old screw, giving me much better control for precise cuts.

My cross slide hasn't felt this smooth in years—the 20 TPI threads engage perfectly and the part matched the #202 diagram without any filing or fuss. It took about ten minutes to swap out the old one, and now I'm actually looking forward to threading operations again.
