The 1mm pitch makes adjustments much finer than the old screw, and it fit my lathe perfectly. I wish the nut was included, but the screw itself is well-machined and smooth.

Installed it on my 8.5x20 deluxe bench lathe and it fit perfectly. The cross slide action is noticeably smoother than my old screw, making fine adjustments much easier. A solid upgrade for the price.

The thread engagement feels solid right out of the box, and the 1mm pitch gives me the fine control I needed for precise cross-slide adjustments. It’s a direct swap for the original on my 8.5x20, though you’ll definitely want that metric nut handy before you start.
