File Set, 12" Steel, 5 Pieces

The rounded half-round file had just the right curve for cleaning up keyhole slots on my workbench. The hardened steel teeth don't dull as fast as the cheap set I was using before.

The teeth on these files bite into metal aggressively right out of the box, and the 12-inch length gives great leverage without being unwieldy. I've been using them to clean up welds and deburr steel, and they hold their edge far better than the cheap sets I've tried before.

The T12 steel feels incredibly solid in hand, and the edges cut through metal burrs on my bench vise with noticeable precision. I was surprised by how well the handles are balanced for a full 12-inch file.
