Installed these on my lathe and the 14 tpi pattern cut perfectly into mild steel on the first pass. The 3/4" diameter feels solid and the 1/4" shaft fit snug without any wobble.

The 14 lines per inch came out clean and sharp on my first try, and the 3/4" diameter fit my holder without any fiddling. I've put them through a few tough jobs already, and the steel is holding up nicely.

14 lines per inch is exactly what my knurling job needed, and the hardened steel edges bit into the aluminum clean on the first pass. The 3/4" diameter fits my holder perfectly, no wobble. These are going to last me a long time.
