Lathe Chuck - 3", 4-Jaw, Independent

Swapped out my old 3-jaw for this independent 4-jaw and the reversible jaws make squaring up odd-shaped stock way less fiddly. The 0.87" through hole is plenty for the small bushings I turn, and the chuck key fits snug without any slop.

The through hole being 22mm handled my longer stock without any rigging, and the key fits snugly so it doesn’t wobble mid-tightening. Jaws flipped over in a couple minutes, and it’s held a slightly crooked casting dead true—pretty impressed for the price.

The reversible jaws are a huge time-saver when I need to switch between internal and external gripping, and the through hole is just big enough for my small stock. Feels solid and well-made for the price.
