The threads are machined cleanly with no burrs, which made swapping out the old one straightforward. It feels solid under load, and my cross-slide now tracks smoother than before.

The threads are cut cleanly and engagement was smooth right out of the box, which made swapping out my old lead screw a straightforward job. It's noticeably more precise during threading operations now, so I'd say it's money well spent for anyone rebuilding their lathe's drive.

Installed this on my 7x12 and the Acme threads meshed perfectly with the half nut, no binding at all. The extra length is exactly what I needed for threading longer workpieces.
