Live Center, 2MT Standard Bull Nose

Finally got it mounted on my lathe and the 70° bull nose fits my centers perfectly. The bearings spin smooth and quiet even under a decent load, and the hardened steel took a few heavy passes without any sign of wear.

Took a while to find a live center this well-made for the price, and the 70º included angle seats my workpieces dead-on every time. The precision bearings spin so smoothly you'd swear it's not even touching the tailstock.

The bearings spin very smoothly under load, which was my main concern. I wish the hardened steel surface had a slightly finer finish, but it works perfectly for my woodturning projects.
