Locking Lever, Tailstock 9x20 Bench Lathe

Finally got around to swapping the stock lever for this one-piece cam lock version on my 9x20, and the difference in tailstock rigidity is immediately noticeable when I’m drilling. It’s a direct fit, no fiddling with setscrews or slop, which is exactly what I wanted for repeatable work.

Installed this on my lathe in under a minute and it locks securely, with no wobble at all. The one-piece metal construction feels much sturdier than the plastic lever it replaced.

The lever is a perfect one-for-one swap for the cam lock tailstock, and the one-piece design feels much sturdier than the two-part handles I’ve seen on other lathes. It locks down solidly with no flex, and installation took me all of two minutes.
