Swapped out the worn part on my SX2.7 and this retainer mounted perfectly, with the handwheel spinning smoothly now. The machining is clean and it mates tightly to the column.

The fit on the Z-axis column is precise, so the hand wheel turns smoothly without any wobble. It took me about ten minutes to swap out the old part, and the drive mechanisms feel rock solid now.

Installed this retainer on my mill and the hand wheel finally feels solid with no wobble. The fit against the column was precise and the whole Z-axis assembly now operates smoothly. Well worth the cost for this fix.
