Screw, Insert Retaining, 4-40 FH

These 4-40 FH screws threaded in clean and held the insert snug on my turning tool with zero wobble. Exactly the right retaining screw for the job, and the flat head sits flush like it should. Glad I checked the insert chart first.

Ordered these as spares for my indexable turning tools and the threads are cut clean, no burrs at all. They snug down flat and hold the insert tight without stripping. Nice to have a couple extras on hand so a lost screw doesn't stall a job.

The 4-40 flat head seats flush in my turning tool holder, no wobble at all. Threads were clean and it snugged down without any galling. Keeping a few spares in the shop drawer now.
