Set Screw, M6x8, Socket Flat Point

The M6x8 fit my application without any slop, and the socket drive made tightening it in a tight spot way easier than I expected. These flat points bite down cleanly on the shaft, so I’ve already ordered a few more spares.

The flat point seated perfectly in the shaft’s keyway, no wobble at all once I torqued it down with a hex key. The M6x8 thread engaged smoothly right out of the bag, which saved me a trip to the hardware store.

The flat point really helps it sit flush in the recess without wobbling. I used these to secure a small metal bracket, and the M6x8 threading grabbed perfectly.
