Shaft, Intermediate 7x10, 7x12 Lathes

Machined perfectly, the keyway lined up without any filing needed on my 7x12. It's noticeably heavier than the stock piece, so I'm confident it'll hold up fine.

The shaft slid right into my 7x10 lathe without any binding, and the machining on the keyway is noticeably cleaner than the original part. It's eliminated that annoying wobble I had when cutting threads under lighter loads.

Installed this intermediate shaft in my 7x10 and the spindle runs noticeably smoother than before, with no vibration at low speeds. The machining on the shaft looks clean and accurate right out of the box.
