Sine Bar, 5"

The hardened steel surface feels precision-ground and dead flat, and it sits rock-solid on my surface plate without any rock. Worked perfectly with my gage blocks for setting up a compound angle on the mill—reading the sine table was almost too easy.

I needed a reliable way to check a 45-degree angle on a recent job, and this 5-inch sine bar paired perfectly with my gauge blocks; the ground surfaces are dead flat and the holes line up precisely. It’s a solid, no-fuss tool for the workbench.

Set up with a couple of gauge blocks and it read true to the thousandth on my first try; the ground finish on the rolls is spotless. Sure, it’s a bit heavier than my old import bar, but that just makes it feel more solid on the mill table.
