The sleeve slid right onto the Z-axis drive shaft of my X3 mill with a snug, precise fit that eliminated all the play I was getting before. Took less than ten minutes to swap out, and now the whole assembly runs noticeably smoother.

Finally, a sleeve that actually fits the Z-axis shaft without me having to shim it with soda can tabs. The clearance is spot-on for the horizontal drive, and it slid right into place on my X3 mill. Took maybe ten minutes to swap out and now the backlash is gone.
