Steady Rest, SIEG C0 Lathes CLEARANCE

Was a bit skeptical about the fit, but the 40mm capacity is spot on for my lathe. The steady rest is solid and eliminates vibration nicely, making delicate cuts much easier.

I can finally face-turn longer pieces on my micro lathe without the chatter—the 40mm capacity is just right for the small brass rods I’ve been working with. The brass-tipped fingers grip snugly without marring the workpiece, and it was a straightforward bolt-on install.

Took a chance on this steady rest for my micro lathe and it fits perfectly, the 40mm capacity is just right for my small projects. The only minor gripe is the instructions could be clearer, but once you figure out the setup it works great for stabilizing longer workpieces.
