Stud, M3x30

Black oxide finish on these studs looks clean and should resist rust well on the lathe. They fit the DRO scale reader mount perfectly, and the M3 threads engaged smoothly without any binding. Exactly what I needed for this install.

I needed exactly 30mm length to clear the cross slide bracket, and these M3 studs fit the DRO reader mounting holes without any slop. The black oxide finish is a nice touch—it keeps them from rusting in my slightly damp garage.

The black oxide finish on these M3x30 studs seems durable and hasn't shown any rust yet after mounting my DRO scale reader. They threaded smoothly into the 3mm holes on the cross slide with no binding.
