The zinc die casting feels sturdy and precise in hand, and the jaws held a #6 tap perfectly without slipping. Nice little tool for bench work.

The knurled handles give a surprisingly good grip, even with oily fingers, and it handled a #4-40 tap without any wobble. The jaws held the tap securely, and the compact 5" length is perfect for tight spots on my vise.

Finally got this for those tiny 0-80 taps I keep stripping with my bigger wrenches, and the 5-inch knurled handles give me just enough control without being bulky. The zinc die-cast body feels solid in the hand for the price.
