I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortably this tap wrench fits in the hand while still feeling solidly built. The hardened gripping surfaces held a couple of stubborn round shanks without slipping.

The plunger mechanism locks onto square shanks without any wobble, and the knurled grip handles feel solid even when I’m torquing down a stubborn thread. Finish is clean, no rough edges—exactly what I wanted for bench work.

The plunger mechanism makes swapping out tap shanks effortless, and the jaws gripped my 1/4" square tap firmly without slipping. I’m surprised how balanced it feels in the hand for its size.
