Telescoping Lead Screw Cover, 7x10, 7x12

Cutting the threads into my mini lathe was easier than I expected with the included installation tools, and the telescoping metal covers slide smoothly to protect the lead screw. The 7x10 size fits perfectly, keeping chips out during operation. Nice upgrade for the peace of mind.

I was pleasantly surprised how snugly the telescoping sections fit once I got the holes drilled and tapped just right. The installation tools that came with it really helped keep everything aligned while I worked. No more worrying about chips getting into the lead screw mechanism.

The telescoping sections feel solid once mounted, and the metal build gives me confidence it’ll hold up against chips and coolant. I had to drill and tap the holes on my mini lathe, which took about an hour, but the cover sits snug and keeps the lead screw clean without binding.
