The hardened steel ground to within 0.0003” is immediately obvious when you set these up—everything just squares up perfectly. The clamps hold workpieces firmly without any shift, making inspection tasks noticeably smoother than with my old blocks.

After setting up these matched pairs on the surface plate, I was impressed how perfectly the v-grooves align with each other. The hardened steel feels solid and the ground surfaces are visibly flat within that 0.0003" tolerance.
