Vise, 3" Precision Milling

Finally, a vise that stays flat and true on the mill table. The hardened and ground swivel base locks down rock-solid, and the jaws grip my smaller parts without any flex.

The swivel base locks down solid and the hardened surfaces align perfectly on my mill table. Only wish the handle had a bit more knurling for grip when tightening.

Jaw surfaces are dead flat and the hardened bed has held up to a few weeks of heavy use without any visible wear. The only thing I’d change is the handle — it’s a bit short for my hands, but the swivel base locks down tight enough to make up for it.
