Detent Rod, LED Mini Lathe

The replacement rod fit perfectly into my mini lathe's gear mechanism, and the length matched the original exactly. It's nice to have a precise machined part that works right out of the box with no filing needed.

The threads on this rod are cut cleanly and it slid right into the back gear mechanism on my SC20 lathe without any binding. That different length from the older models saved me a ton of headache trying to make a shorter one work.

Finally found the right length for the back gear detent rod—my SC20 was driving me nuts with the shift slipping, and this one clicked in perfectly. The precision machining is obvious once it’s seated, and the shift feels solid again. Exactly what I needed.
