Depth Gage, Dial 0-22", Dasqua

Finally got one of these to replace an old cheap set and the dial reads so clearly I don't have to squint anymore. The 2-1/2" base sits flat on grooved parts without rocking, and the depth readings come out spot-on every time. Only wish the case was a bit sturdier, but for the price it's a solid buy

The base feels rock-solid when I set it on a flat surface, and the dial indicator locks in readings without any wobble. Measured a few blind holes in a valve cover and it hit the depth within a thou every time. The fine-lapped base glides smoothly over machined parts, which makes repeat checks quick

The dial is large enough to read clearly, and the hardened base feels like it will hold up to daily use. It measures accurately right out of the box, making checking step depths much faster.
