The threads on my old screw were toast, so I ordered this standard X-axis feed screw for the X1 micro mill—fit the mount perfectly with zero slop. It's the exact SKU I needed, and the machining is clean enough that the carriage glides smoothly again.

Replaced the worn X-axis screw on my X1 and the backlash is gone entirely, the standard feed screw fits perfectly without any filing. Threads engage smoothly across the full travel, so I can finally trust my cuts again.
