Collet & Chuck Set, ER-32, R8

The R8 taper fits my mill’s spindle perfectly, and the 7/16"-20 drawbar thread matched right up. These ER-32 collets grip my end mills tight and the spanner wrench makes swapping them quick.

Eleven collets means I’m covered for most sizes I’ll ever need, and the R8 taper seated firmly in my mill’s spindle without any wobble. The drawbar thread matched up perfectly too, so swapping tools took no time at all. Good, solid set for the price.

Pulled the collets out of the case and was surprised by how smoothly they fit into the R8 chuck—no burrs or rough edges. Running a test cut, the runout was barely noticeable, definitely a step up from my old setup. The included spanner wrench is a nice bonus, though the knurling could be a bit deepe
