The 4-flute design on these end mills really helps with a smoother finish on my steel parts. The 3/8" shank is nice and solid in my collet. A solid set for the price.

Got these for some general milling jobs on aluminum and 1018 steel, and the center-cut design on the 3/8" shank makes plunging much easier than with my older end mills. The 1/2" bit leaves a nice finish, though I wish the set included a 7/16" for a middle ground.
