Finally got around to swapping out the original clamp block, and the replacement is a perfect fit—snug and secure with no wobble. The C-shape grips just like it should, making my milling setup feel solid again.

The C-shaped profile fits my 1681 attachment perfectly, no filing or fudging needed to get it seated. Took maybe two minutes to swap out the worn original, and it holds the work piece just as firmly as the factory part did. Glad I finally got a proper replacement instead of rigging something up.

Finally, a replacement clamp block that actually fits the 1681 attachment without any slop—the C-shape seats perfectly on the first try. The machining is clean and the threads engage smoothly, so no more fighting with a wobbly clamp during setups.
