インデクサブルエンドミル、R8、1.25インチ切削径

I was skeptical about the 1.25-inch cut diameter for finishing work, but it took off material fast and left a surprisingly smooth surface. The carbide inserts held up well through a full day of heavy milling without chipping.

The R8 shank fit perfectly in my mill's drawbar with no slop, and the 1.25-inch cut diameter took full passes through 1018 steel like butter. Surfacing came out much smoother than I expected from an indexable tool.

Metal removal rate on this thing is genuinely impressive, cleared through a 1.25-inch pass in cast iron fast enough that I had to slow the feed to keep chips manageable. Surfacing finish came out smoother than I expected for an indexable too, no chatter on the R8 mount.
