Saddle, X1 Micro Mill

Machined surfaces are dead smooth and the gib slots lined up exactly with my existing ways, so installation took maybe twenty minutes. The saddle glides with no detectable play now that I've adjusted the tapered gibs. Exactly what I needed to bring my X1 back to tolerance.

The replacement saddle fit perfectly onto my X1 mill with zero play in the ways. The cast iron feels solid and the precision surface is clearly machined to spec. Exactly what I needed for the rebuild.

The machining is spot on, and it slid right into place without any fitting needed. My X1 runs much smoother now with this direct replacement saddle.
