The three scale retaining pins lined up perfectly with the existing holes on my C3, so mounting was easier than I expected. Once it's on, the shield keeps chips off the back of the apron nicely.

Wasn't thrilled about drilling three holes in my C3, but the template lines up fine and the scale retaining pins hold it solid. Now the apron back stays clear of swarf instead of me picking it out with a brush.

Snug fit on my SC2 and it keeps chips off the back of the apron way better than the open gap did. The three scale retaining pins hold it solid, though you do have to drill the holes yourself. Worth the half hour of setup.
