I needed a fine-thread UNF set for some automotive work and this one covers all the common sizes I run into. The ratcheting tap handle actually locks in tight without slipping, which makes threading in tight spots much easier.

The taps cut clean threads through steel without any wobble, and the die handle grip is solid enough that I didn’t strip a single one. For the price, having both handles and all those fine sizes in one box is a steal.

I needed to rethread some engine brackets and was pleasantly surprised how cleanly these fine-thread UNF taps cut through steel. The handles feel solid and the size chart etched on the case is actually readable without a magnifying glass.
