Installed this on my SC4 lathe and it locked the tailstock down firmly with just a quarter turn. The handle itself is stout and the lever action is much better than the old T-handle I was using.

The knurled grip gives you a solid purchase even with oily hands, and the lever action is smooth right out of the box. Swapped it onto my SC4 tailstock in under two minutes, and it locks down firmly without any slop.

The fit on my SC4 is perfect, and the lever throw is smooth enough that I can lock the tailstock without jarring the work. It’s a solid little part that does exactly what it’s supposed to, and the knurling gives a good grip even with oily fingers.
