The original retainer on my mill’s handwheel side had stripped out, and this replacement seated perfectly with no slop once I torqued it down. Machining is clean on the threads and the bore, so the feed screw turns just as smooth as it did when the machine was new.

I was worried about finding the right fit for my SIEG SX3.5, but this retainer slid right onto the X-axis feed screw with no fuss. The machining is precise enough that the handwheel side is snug without any wobble.

The X-axis screw retainer fits perfectly on the handwheel side, just like the original part. I appreciated how the machining was precise enough that it seated without any filing or adjustment. A straightforward fix for the mill.
