Screw, Insert Retaining, 17 mm

The threads machined cleanly and seated tight on my indexable end mill, so no wobble when I torqued it down. I’m glad I grabbed a spare, since these 17 mm retainers are the one thing you don’t want to be missing mid-job.

Had to replace one on my face mill and this 17 mm screw threaded in smooth without any binding. Exactly the right size for the cutter, no issues so far.

These fit perfectly on my indexable end mill, and the 17 mm size is exactly what I needed to swap out the old insert holder. It threads in smooth without any wobble, so I’m stocked to have spares on hand for the shop.
