Bracket, Belt Tensioner, 9x20 Bench Lathe

The bracket’s loosen-the-bolts design made dialing in belt tension on my 9x20 lathe quick and straightforward. Installation was simple, and now the drive runs smoother without any slipping. Great upgrade for the money.

Adjusting the v-belt tension used to be a hassle, but loosening those two bolts and sliding this bracket makes it easy. The bracket feels sturdy and holds the tension perfectly without slipping. My lathe runs quieter now.

Swapped out the factory setup with this bracket and can now dial in the belt tension precisely with the adjustment bolts instead of just guessing. It’s a simple design but makes a huge difference—the v-belt stays properly snug even during heavy cuts.
