Follower Rest, 8.5x20 Bench Lathe

Wished I'd bought this sooner — swapping between turning a 1" shaft and a 2" bar took me under five minutes to adjust, and the 2.2" capacity covered everything I throw at it. Solid enough to cut chatter way down.

The three mounting bolts lined up perfectly on my SC4 without any modifications. I’ve been using it to support some long 1.5" steel rod, and the 2.2" capacity leaves plenty of room for adjustment. It’s solid cast iron and really cuts down on chatter during threading.

Been fighting deflection on 1.5" stock for weeks, and this follower rest just locked it down solid. The 2.2" max diameter gives plenty of room to work with, and the fit on my SC4 was dead-on with zero shimming needed.
