These triangle inserts are perfectly sharp and ground symmetrically; the 11° relief works great for my aluminum finishing passes. With a 3/8" IC and no chip breaker, they’re simple but cut cleanly without chatter.

I was pleasantly surprised by how precisely these 3/8-inch triangle inserts sit in the tool holder—no wobble at all. The sharp 60° point held up through several passes on some mild steel without chipping.

The 11° relief angle made clean cuts on my steel stock without any chatter, and the lack of a chip breaker actually worked fine for light finishing passes. I’ve already burned through two cheaper brands this month, but these held their edge through a full afternoon of turning.
