The hardened jaw surfaces really bite into the tap without slipping, even on a stubborn 3/8" job. For the price, this little 8" wrench feels sturdier than it has any right to be, and the zinc casting keeps it light enough for tight spots.

The knurled handles give a nice secure grip even with greasy fingers, and the jaws held my 1/4" tap firmly without slipping. Just the right size for smaller bench work. I’m really pleased with how solid it feels.
