The angle plate is precision ground and square and parallel to 0.0005" (0.013 mm) per 6" on two working surfaces.
Made from high tensile cast iron, normalized and stress relieved.

The 0.0005" tolerance claim held up when I tested it against my surface plate, and the webbed design makes it lighter to handle than solid blocks. Surfaced it with a file to knock off the edges before layout work, and it's been dead on for squaring fixtures all week.
