Change Gear Set, Fine Feed, Mini Lathe - Main image
$30.07 $42.95 In stock

This gear set reduces the feed rate for turning from 0.0039" per spindle revolution to 0.0026" per revolution. Slowing the feed rate can help improve the surface finish.

They replace the two 80 tooth gears and the lower 20 tooth gear.

Made from PETG filament (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) which is extremely durable, impact resistant, and chemical resistant.

Hannah K. ★★★★★

Got the fine-feed set installed this afternoon—the surface finish on my last test piece came out noticeably smoother with the 0.0026" per rev. Took about 20 minutes to swap the two 80-tooth gears, and everything meshed perfectly.

Victoria ★★★★★

Swapped in the 80-tooth gears and the finer feed rate of 0.0026" per revolution made a noticeable difference in my mini lathe's surface finish.

Charlotte W. ★★★★★

Installing these gears was straightforward, and the noticeably smoother surface finish on my last steel part made the swap worthwhile. Cutting the feed rate from .0039 to .0026 per revolution really does make a difference for fine work.
