This adapter is for a 4" 3-Jaw chuck such as LittleMachineShop.com PN 1698. NOTE: PN 1790 is the same adapter just without the 3 holes pre-drilled.

* These adapters require machining on the lathe on which they will be used. Instructions are included for final turning of the registration diameter on your lathe to ensure perfect concentricity.

Drilled the three holes myself on the lathe, and they lined up perfectly with the chuck’s mounting pattern. Took a bit of careful setup since the adapter needs machining, but the 4" diameter feels solid and true once fitted.
